The Weald & Downland Open Air Museum is an educational charity founded to inspire and enlighten visitors in the rich historic building tradition of south east England along with the region's crafts, technology, rural life and landscapes. The main exhibits of the Museum are over 45 period buildings ranging from medieval to Victorian in period and re-built on a beautiful 40-acre site in the South Downs, vividly demonstrating the homes and workplaces of the past.
