Widney Brooks

As part of the West Sussex Biodiversity Project, Widney Brooks, in the Arun Valley, has been returned to a traditional system of cattle-grazed grassland with seasonally raised water levels. This provides the perfect wintering habitat for large numbers of wildfowl such as teal, wigeon and pintail as well as wintering waders such as ruff.
