Tregoyd House

Tregoyd House

Formally lived in and owned by Lord Hereford, this magnificent mansion house has extensive and impressive gardens that are now on the Historical Gardens Register of Wales. The nearby River Wye provides a picturesque setting for the canoe journey which starts in the famous old “book” town of Hay-on-Wye and concludes at an old Toll Bridge in Whitney. For orienteering and the mountain trail, groups take a short walk to Abes Mount in the Black Mountains that has spectacular views over the unspoilt countryside.
