Cotehele

Built 1485-1627, Cotehele contains original furniture, armour and needlework; gardens on several levels; medieval dovecote; Cotehele Mill, restored to working condition with adjoining cider press; Cotehele Quay on the Tamar with eighteenth and nineteenth century buildings; outstation of National Maritime Museum; restored Tamar sailing barge Shamrock. Danescombe Valley has remains of mine buildings showing the area’s industrial history.
