14 acres of woodland near a small river. Near by the entrance are remnants of an old mill. The site itself is quite diverse with grassland, riparian and woodland habitats located within a small area. Geological strata and erosion features along Artle Beck are visible. Footpaths are clearly marked and easily accessible and disabled access is possible over some of the site.
