Leith Hill

Set on a greensand ridge and topped by a tower which, at 1029 feet, is the highest point in south-east England and affords spectacular views to both the North and South Downs; numerous springs, notably the Tillingbourne, which was a centre of industry in the Middle Ages; interesting heathland and woodland management history as well as a beautiful rhododendron wood.
