Old Holly Farm

Old Holly Farm

We are a family run working organic dairy farm, milking 120 cows every day and working 190 acres of land. The farm diversified in September 2007 and opened a visitor attraction on site which includes an indoor soft Playbarn, traditional family friendly cafe, farm shop, animal courtyard and dairy viewing gallery. We also have a classroom on site which schools can use as a base during their visit. Coolcow Ice cream is located on site, making ice cream using the milk from the farms dairy herd.

We are passionate about providing children (and adults alike) an opportunity to explore the world around them in a safe environment. Its important children have an understanding of farming and food, and how to care for animals and the environment. We love working with schools as it gives us a fantastic opportunity to show off what farming is all about.

We are open all year round, so can accomodate visits through the seasons depending on your needs. The day is planned around what you want to get out of the visit, with a mixture of play, crafts and hands on experience. We encourage the children to touch and smell a real working farm, which they love.
