Wynyard Woodland Park is a 400 acre park based around a disused railway line. It has a mix of woodlands, wildflower meadows and wetlands. It is a valuable wildlife refuge and is home to a variety of plants and animals. School facilities include a planetarium and railway carriage classroom. Joint planetarium/ranger led visits are available on request.
