Sharpham Outdoors

Sharpham Outdoors
  • Sharpham Outdoors environmental programme offers exciting activities for people of all ages and abilities from pre-school to adults.
  • The woodlands, farmland, ponds, meadows, willowbed, reed beds and river that form the 550 acre Sharpham Estate are a perfect setting for sensory trails, farm visits, camp fires, story telling and environmental art.
  • Our visits encourage team development, exploration of the natural environment and awareness of the importance of sustainability.
  • Each visit can be tailored to a theme being explored at school, or to other group needs.
  • We’re always developing new programmes, examples of themed visits include: Taste Sharpham -  Taking advantage of the farm, river, vegetable garden and woodlands at Sharpham, we’ll go on an exploration of meat, vegetables, dairy and wild food that gets to the heart of some of the issues of food and sustainability to see how it all gets to our tables! Activities may include helping plant, care for or harvest vegetables in the garden, meeting the dairy cows, and wild food foraging in the woods.
