Rush Farm

Managed using Biodynamic Organic practices, registered with Biodynamic Association. Mixed farming, arable and pasture, cut for hay and grazed with cattle and sheep using traditional breeds Hereford cattle and Lleyn sheep. BAP species present include lapwing, curlew, skylark, yellowhammer and corn bunting, great crested newts and brown hare. It also has a resident barn owl and many other farmland birds, plus rare arable plants. Other feature of interest; Bow Brook Special Wildlife Site, Semi-natural Ancient Woodland, historic boundary patterns, ridge and furrow, pockets of species-rich grassland.
