Osbaldeston Hall Farm is a 300-acre modern dairy and sheep unit, milking 120 cows and lambing 300 sheep. The farm also rears all its own dairy youngstock. The holding nestles between the River Ribble and 80 acres of ancient woodland, two miles away from the nearest A-road, creating a wonderful habitat for numerous species of birds and animals. The farm is a perfect example of how modern farming can work in harmony with conserving the environment, by planting new hedgerows and restoring old ones; protecting watercourses and woodland, with the aim of encouraging the expansion of wildlife habitats.
