A 40-acre limestone grassland family farm. Farmed organically since 1989, registered organic in 1997. Producing organic vegetables, eggs, beef and lamb. It also has goats, rare breed poultry, geese, ducks, ponies, dogs and cats. The farmstead nestles in the sheltered head of a valley, with extensive views of the Peak district and Staffordshire moorland as well as being adjacent to a limestone ridge featuring quarry with surrounding limestone grasslands, limekiln, dew ponds and ancient burial mounds. The farm has a full range of landscape historical, archaeological and habitat features on a relatively small area.
