Hallwood Farm is a small but very diverse enterprise. Although traditionally a dairy farm, the new owners have moved away from milk production and now raise small numbers of beef, sheep and pigs along with approx 30 free-range chickens. In addition to this the owners grow a range of vegetables on the south facing slopes and supply local schools, pubs and restaurants. They are also starting a box scheme in 2006. Another part of the business is self-catering holiday accommodation including recreational activities.
