Whittington Lodge Farm is managed by Ian and Cathy Boyd specifically to encourage our native wildlife and we aim to share it with others. The grassland and wild flower meadows are extensively grazed by an organic pedigree herd of Hereford cows and calves. The arable land has many habitats for ground nesting birds like grey partridge, corn buntings and lapwings. There is particular emphasis on encouraging insects as part of the food chain. This is a Cotswold Hill farm of 280 hectares and has been farmed by the Boyd family for 75 years.
