Oxleaze Farm is a mixed organic farm of approximately 350 hectares in area, growing arable crops (cereals, brassicas) and pastureland supporting beef production and a livery yard. Traditional farm buildings have been converted to accommodate diversified enterprises. An Environmental Stewardship agreement incorporates environmental measures to encourage farmland birds (over-wintered stubbles, wild bird seed mixtures, field margins etc) and water meadows provide a haven for wetland birds such as snipe, waterfowl and lapwing. These meadows are being enhanced for wetland birds through the creation of scrapes. Additional features include riverbank (riparian) habitats along the River Leach and cricket bat willows.
