Low Foulshaw Farm comprises 480 acres plus additional rented grassland, managed by a family partnership: John, Rachel, Richard and Charles, with 10 full / part time staff. The free range poultry enterprise comprises 28,000 free range hens. All eggs produced in accordance with the Lion Quality Scheme monitoring bird welfare and egg quality. The sheep enterprise comprises two flocks; 120 pedigree Charolais ewes producing finished lamb for the Easter market and 900 Lleyn ewes producing lamb for later markets. Our beef enterprise comprises 130 suckler cows plus young stock. We are currently running trials on the new Stabiliser breed.
