West Moor House Farm is an upland unit on the north side of the Wharfe Valley overlooking Ilkley. The farm consists of approximately 120ha of grassland. 225ha of moorland. There are 2 flocks of sheep. The 320 Texel x ewes produce high quality prime lambs. The 160 Swaledale ewes produce breeding females & lamb for the freezer sold directly to local customers. The beef Shorthorn suckler herd numbers around 35 cows & produce breeding females & high quality beef for the freezer. The farmstead dates back to the 17th century. The houses are Grade II listed.
