The site has both open and permissive footpaths giving access to both woodland and grassland which is being enhanced by careful management under The Countryside Stewardship Scheme. The holding consists of 14.1 hectares of which 7 are accessible under the scheme. This includes wildflower meadows, old hedgerow boundaries (dated post enclosure) and features such as ridge and furrow.
