Manor farm is 600 acres, a mixed organic farm, producing organic meat and a variety of crops. We are passionate about animal welfare, and all our stock enjoy living outside, roaming freely, until the winter when they are housed inside with warm straw beds. We encourage insect and bird life, by reverting arable land back to native down land and planting wild bird seed cover. The Downs are particularly important for wild flowers, including many orchids, like the bee orchid; and we have the largest existing colony of the Duke of Burgundy butterfly. We have diversified by converting old cottages to 4 star holiday lets, encouraging our guests to enjoy, and learn about agriculture and the countryside.
