Grindle House Farm

Grindle Farm is over 500ha, 80% being arable. Many various crops are grown including wheat, barley, oats, and oilseed rape. The crops are produced for seed, flour milling, malting, breakfast cereal and cooking oil. Carrots and parsnips are grown to supply supermarkets. Millet and canary seed are produced for bird seed. A breeding sheep flock produced approx. 1000 lambs, these graze the stewardship pastures in summer and during the winter specific crops such as kale, fodder beet and stubble turnips are grown for them to graze.
