Tickwood farm provides an opportunity for visitors to explore a range of wildlife habitats including ancient woodland, orchards and flower rich pastures. A walk suitable for wheel chair users has been constructed along with an outdoor classroom / shelter to provide safe access to woodland and old quarry sites. A typical visit consist of an introduction to the farm animals, followed by a farm / woodland walk, picnic lunch and afternoon activity such as fossil hunting, nature trails, ask the farmer questions session etc.
