Godinton Park

The parkland surrounds an important listed house and gardens dating back to c 1360. It is mainly pasture with mature parkland trees, blocks of woodland, hedges and young plantations. The River Stour runs through the estate, and cattle and sheep graze the pasture. There is plenty of scope for historical/social history/ scientific research. It is also good for young children for activities such as pond dipping, picnics etc.
