Daylands Farm is a working farm of approx. 130 acres, with small fields and ancient hedgrows, a fast flowing stream and ancient and modern woods. There is a herd of suckler cows with their calves of various ages, also a small flock of ewes with their growing lambs. A few pigs are usually kept. Six acres of vegetables and flowers are grown and these are sold at farmers'' markets. There is also a wildlife pond stocked with fish.
