The Grade II listed cottage is reputed to be the oldest house in Tadley. Rare breed farm animals are kept and many different types of food grown on the small holding. Fields support wildflowers, insects and birds in a Conservation area. Over the years the meadows have become degraded by poor management. The fields will be managed by careful grazing, weed control, and spreading of green hay collected from nearby flower rich meadows to it promote the biodiversity and encourage the insects that feed on the flowers. Hedges and ditches will be managed for the benefit of wild life.
