The site is in an AONB, Great Newbridge Copse is ancient semi natural woodland designated a SINC. We have a wide range of wildlife including birds, butterflies, damsel flies, dragonflies, roe deer and badger. Our range of birds is probably of most interest with the following having been seen or heard. buzzard, peregrine, sparrow hawk, kestrel, hobby, barn owl, tawny owl, kingfisher, water rail, cettiā€™s warbler, spotted flycatcher, green & spotted woodpecker, woodcock, jay, jackdaw, goldfinch, greenfinch, bullfinch, chaffinch, siskin, great tit, blue tit, long-tailed tit, wren, swallow, swift, house martin, heron, wheatear.
