Limestone Hill farm, family run since 1921 has 214 acres growing wheat, barley and oil seed rape with an area set aside to support birdlife. There is evidence of a bronze age settlement, Roman occupation and medieval agriculture. A water mill was built in 1803 to grind corn into flour for the local villagers. Now derelict there are plans to restore the building in the near future and visitors will be able to see the still intact inner workings when the building is restored plus artefacts from the different periods.
