Runnage Farm is a traditional Dartmoor moorland farm with a history traceable back to 1304 when it was first recorded as a tenement to the Forest of Dartmoor. The farm has an area of Rhos pasture, a rare type of wet grassland, and a traditional haymeadow with Greater Butterfly Orchids. Traditional buildings are still in use on the farm and the land is grazed by rare White Faced Dartmoor local sheep breed.
