A traditional and unspoilt old orchard planted in 1838. A haven for wildlife, a visit to our orchard will help to educate both young and old in diverse areas such as history, geography, weather and growing conditions, art, literacy, I.T, sustainability, conservation, environment, pollination and reproduction (biology), botany, wildlife awareness, historic farming practices, rare breeds, local production of eco friendly/organic food and awareness of food mileage, horticulture, and food technology.
