Southwood Hall is a 424ha mixed farm on the edge of the Norfolk Broads. We have 450 beef cattle grazing the grass marshes, which are managed for wetland birds. We can also visit a neighbouring sheep farmer and offer lambing tours.
The arable farm produces wheat, barley, sugar beet and peas, and provides feeding and breeding habitats for farmland birds. It is possible to visit the “The Land of the Windmills Project” on the Reedham marshes to view the history of land drainage.
A purpose built class base and passenger trailer are available, both accessible to people with reduced mobility.
