Moor Farm

Moor Farm is a 330 acre arable farm combined with conservation and wildlife. 170 acres of arable growing wheat and 110 acres of grassland let for grazing livestock. 43 acres of ancient and young woodland and 7 acres of ponds, lakes and conservation areas with various grasses, wild flowers and plant species creating habitats for an abundance of wildlife including owl, deer, hare, bats, newts, farmland birds, wild fowl and game birds. One woodland has orchids and is a Site of Nature Conservation Interest. There is also an ancient settlement and burial ground dated 2nd and 3rd century AD.
