Mainly dairy enterprise building a herd of Brown Swiss cattle producing quality milk for cheese making. Sheep are also kept. Some arable crops are grown for feeding livestock. The Higher Level Stewardship agreement is helping to fund restoration of hedgerows, dry stone walls and wildflower rich hay meadows; protection of archaeological features which show the rich history of farming and mining in the area; and the provision of feeding areas for farmland birds. The farm extends up onto the Weaver Hills with grassland rich in limestone loving plants and spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.
