At Moor Farm children can be taken on a tractor tour and learn about life on a very busy farm. There is a strong emphasis on food production and conservation and children can learn about the crops and cattle that produce familiar foods which they see in the supermarkets (from Sainsbury’s milk to Walkers crips!)
There is a great deal of work undertaken to help conservation on the farm and pupils can learn how the farm’s management helps local wildlife.The farm also includes a deer park and is famous for its veteran trees.
