Lymburghs Farm is 150 acres of organic permanent pasture with beautiful Ruby Red Devon cattle and enigmatic Wiltshire Horn sheep enjoying panoramic views of the Blackmore Vale including Shaftesbury to the east, Marnhull to the west, Hambledon Hill to the south and Duncliffe Wood to the north. Habitat management includes: Species-rich grassland restoration and hay meadow management; Winter wet grassland restoration and flood management; Orchard, hedge and pond restoration. Notable species include Great Crested Newt; Otter; Water Vole; Barn Owl; Skylark; Snipe; Carder Bee; Pipistrelle, Whiskered and Serotine bats; Pepper Saxifrage and Corky-fruited Water-dropwort flowers.
