Miry Carr farm is a 58 acre farm close to Leeds, entirely dedicated to enhancing and protecting the beauty and abundant wildlife of the environment, creating habitats to attract further species.
There is a mixture of grassland, wetland, reedbeds, hedges and trees, as well as ancient footpaths dating back to the Bronze Age.
Attractions include: A recently planted wildlife meadow, hedge restoration, a nature trail, bird and bat boxes and a horticultural area.
There are many rare and protected types of wildlife, including owls, lapwings, curlews, skylarks and brown hares.
