Greystones Farm is an organic farm owned by Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust and managed on an extensive, low-input system of grazing, silage and hay cutting. There is 18ha of wildflower-rich meadows, a section of the beautiful River Eye and Salmonsbury Camp Scheduled Ancient Monument; a 27ha Iron Age Fortified Town with evidence of a Neolithic Causewayed Enclosure. This combination of historic, wildlife and farming features makes for an excellent educational resource providing an insight into the management of a modern farm for the benefit of wildlife and people.
Suitable for all ages and abilities with activities from bushcraft to river dipping.
