Hazlett House is a small organic sheep farm with a pedigree Hampshire Down closed flock, usually lambing over Christmas or early in the year. We have 20 acres of Ancient Woodland where we are managing for wild life and encouraging woodland birds in decline in this area. We have made a pond scraping to encourage breeding waders. The farm also has some ancient hay meadows with a wide range of wild flowers. We cut the grass late to allow the flowers to set seed for the following year.
