Rowley Farm is a 63ha family farm on Rowley Hill, high above the agriculturally productive Rea Valley. The farm is managed lightly to support sheep and beef cattle, and has some interesting old meadows and ancient woodland adjacent to a disused mill stream where many flowering plants (including orchids) may be observed. The woodland supports a number of interesting plant, bryophyte and insect species, and offers an excellent opportunity for biological study.
