Higher Monkton farm is a family run farm we offer FREE visits for schools and organisations. It is a mixed farm with pigs, dairy and arable. We run guided information visits that can be tailored to suit most educational needs. A typical visit will be seeing the pigs and holding piglets, seeing what they eat, then walking across a couple of fields looking at crops, then visiting the dairy unit seeing the parlour and cows and calves, finishing off with a look at machinery and having a chance to sit in a tractor
