Ellicar Gardens is a vibrant 5 acre, family garden, rich in wildlife with beautiful, sweeping borders and diverse gardens to enjoy. Within the gardens schools will enjoy our exploring school garden with its creepie crawlie walk and outdoor classroom- used for teacher training sessions- the willow maze, wildflower meadows, a newly planted wood and our recent bird garden. Our Natural Swimming Pool and the rich planting in the gardens have created biodiversity- our fantastic wildlife is easy to spot and schools will gain ideas for developing their own grounds. Ellicar Gardens is also a registered small family farm- schools will enjoy seeing our friendly rare breed farm animals including Aberdeen Angus Cattle, Golden Guernsey Goats, Pig, Geese Chickens and Ponies. Heated Classrooms with projector and wi-fi are available for your visit.
