This 'secret garden' is well worth a school visit, featuring a historic Victorian Walled Garden including flower and fruit borders and a vegetable patch. Greenhouses hold Liverpool's historic Botanical Collection of plants from around the world. A great resource for teaching about plants and growing, with special themed Ranger-led visits available too. Also great for stimulating the senses, with lots of colour, shape, form and scent to investigate. Storytelling options too (Peter Rabbit or the Secret Garden...).
