Packington Free Range

Based at an arable farm with opportunities to find out how crops grow on the farm. A tractor trailer ride to our organic meadows to find a herd of organic dairy herd, and then go bug and frog catching in the long grass of the meadows. We other animals on site such as sheep and pigs, so we can learn why farmers have them and how to look after them. Also we have lots of fun activities to do e.g. bug hunting and den building in our ancient woodland. We have lots of model machinery available for children to know exactly what processes we go through on the farm. We also have a small pond which is thriving with wildlife which we can use for pond dipping.
