Our traditional hill farm is situated in the beautiful Alden valley, Rossendale, east Lancashire only 35 minutes from north Manchester.The McCarthy family have been farming and hosting educational visits since 1991. This vibrant busy education centre re-connects children and young people to their food source and gives hands on opportunities with livestock, allotment fruit and vegetable growing, woodland and simple coppice craft and conservation skills. Small residential groups for 'farm school' weeks or day visits are our speciality.
