Bore Place

Bore Place

Bore Place is a working, organic dairy farm in Kent. On site we have:
a conference and study centre; a team of Education tutors providing a range of programmes for visiting schools, colleges and the public and we offer vocational and therapeutic programmes working with vulnerable young people and adults to help develop their talents and potential.
We believe education around sustainability, healthy eating, global citizenship and understanding where our food comes from is important at all ages. At Bore Place we offer a wide range of hands-on educational programmes for schools and teachers, community groups, families, children and adults.
All our programmes are run by our experienced staff team:
School programmes provide curriculum-linked activity visits for schools;
Teacher training programme provides teachers and school leaders with a variety of continuing professional development opportunities and access to a wide range of resources;
Community programmes provide courses and events for members of the public which can also be booked by groups and tailored to their specific needs.
We are an Arts Award supporter offering opportunities for adults and young people to access the Arts and gain a nationally recognised qualification at Bronze, Silver or Gold level.
We welcome students of all abilities to find inspiration in our gardens and explore the natural resources available at Bore Place. *** New additions to Bore Place Education Programme in 2016 ***
• School Residential - 1 and 2 night packages bursting with experiential learning and offering a creative and nurturing space for making connections, exploring and discovering more about ourselves, each other and the wider world.
