Our farm is a not for profit social enterprise and learning centre which aims to shape the farmers of the future. We want young people to have a positive, genuine and healthy relationship to food and the land and learn about sustainable ways to identify, grow and produce food and importantly how to cook and eat it. We have both outdoor and indoor learning areas based in one of our three polytunnels and offer a range of site tours, half and full day visits which include catered workshops. We use permaculture to grow in a regenerative way which encourages lots of biodiversity, we also have geese, chickens, two ducks and two cows and are off completely off the grid relying on rainwater and solar energy. We love having school visits, but everyone and anyone is welcome to visit.
