Mayfields Farm

Mayfields Farm

Mayfields is a small 40 acre farm close to Reepham, owned by the Countryside Restoration Trust, a charity promoting wildlife-friendly farming. Several traditional and rare breeds of sheep are kept here, and the tenant farmer is a highly skilled sheepdog handler and trains working dogs. We also have a red squirrel breeding programme, bee hives, a fantastic raised bird hide and two established ponds. Activities include habitat exploration, birdwatching, pond dipping, farm trails, learning about wool, planting and soil related activities and sheepdog demonstrations. Indoor activities can take place in our purpose built classroom. Please see our website for more details.
