Rye Harbour Nature Reserve - Sussex Wildlife Trust

Rye Harbour Nature Reserve - Sussex Wildlife Trust

Rye Harbour is a large coastal nature reserve located just outside of Rye in East Sussex. There are many habitats to explore - beach, saltmarsh, grassland and freshwater - full of wildlife for your group to discover. A range of historical military defences help to document the changing coastline and landscape here, and five accessible birdwatching hides allow closer views of our special birds. We offer a range of practical, hands-on activities linked to the National Curriculum and designed to inspire your class to connect with nature.
