The beautiful Ledston Estate, near Castleford in West Yorkshire, is host to the Countryside Live event each year in May. Countryside Live is a two day event suitable for primary school children and catering for 1500 children per day. The event is set up like a country show, with marquees and a central arena. Exhibitors attend to carry out a variety of hands-on activities with the children, providing a very popular learning outside the classroom experience.
The 11th Countryside Live North will take place on Wed 18 and Thurs 19 May 2016. Please note that the Ledston Estate is only open for school visits on these dates, and places must be booked via Countryside Learning.
