Roves Farm is a working farm open to the public, located three miles east of Swindon. The woodlands, ponds & wetlands, River Cole, flower rich meadows, grass field margins and wild bird covers are a haven for a diverse array of wildlife and their habitats. Our animal barns house a variety of pet animals that can be fed and handled on every visit. Our commercial sheep flocks, pigs and cattle live out and graze the fields year round. Learning about these animals can be incorporated on a tractor ride exploring the farm. Roves Farm produces, rears and sells its very own meat produce. We can show children where their food is coming from and how it is grown and cared for. Each visit is tailored to cover the topics and learning outcomes you are studying for. Our visitor centre facilities and experienced staff make an ideal safe place for schools to visit. We will help you to expand your knowledge, gain hands on experiences, put classroom theories into practice and most of all have fun!
