AIM Educational Limited is an alternative education provider, based around a small enterprise farm, committed to helping children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities, particularly those with autism and Asperger’s Syndrome, and those who are unable to engage in mainstream education due to learning, social, emotional or behavioural issues. We aim to empower students to change negative behaviour patterns, develop confidence, personal, social, communication and independent learning skills, as well as gaining work-related skills.
At Aim we are dedicated to helping students acquire relevant and practical rural and land based skills and knowledge, as well as traditional qualifications, through creative, real and engaging learning experiences. Animals and our farm environment are instrumental to our teaching as they have the power to calm, soothe, engage, entertain and enthral, enhancing the development of social and verbal skills. Improvements in literacy and numeracy are fundamental to our vision, as is the aim to train, educate and empower individuals or groups to venture into a number of microbusinesses, or to equip them with the relevant practical skills to enable them to secure gainful employment once their training is completed.
We provide mentoring and business support to ensure future success and development for our students.
