Bingley Five Rise Locks

Bingley Five Rise Locks on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal is one of the Seven Wonders of the Waterways. It is an ideal location for delivering the new national curriculum requirements for Geography fieldwork and a local area history study.
A visit to Five Rise Locks gives school groups the opportunity to unearth secrets of the local area through first hand observation and historical enquiry, hear from people who lived and worked on the canal on our interactive history trail and discover what makes it so special.
